About Our Pastor
Rev. Joseph A. Auksela
The Reverend Joseph A. Auksela was installed as pastor at Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Bartlesville, OK. in October of 1999. He and his wife Diane are originally from Chicago, IL. and have two grown children, one living in North Dakota, and the other residing in South Dakota.
After finishing his studies at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, TN with a BA in History, he attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA, where he received a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Theology in Old Testament studies.
After completing his seminary education, he spent several years in business management. He combines the experience of the pastorate along with that of the business world. He looks forward to many opportunities of ministry here in Bartlesville in proclaiming the excellencies and saving mercies of Jesus Christ offered freely in the Gospel.
